Purpose of the Game

This game is meant to be played by a single person and the ultimate goal is to save the eggs that were stolen by the green pigs. In order to keep the eggs, the pigs have various defense mechanisms like building shelters and wearing helmets. The player is shown cartoon clips telling the story for the stage being played every now and then, and although these are for entertainment purposes, they do reflect what the setting will be for the upcoming stages.

The Angry Birds game has a set of birds that the player will be given at the beginning of each level, and which ones are available is determined by the game and not chosen by the player. As a player advances through the levels, the difficulty increases and birds will be provided that are suitable for breaking through the structure sheltering the pigs. Players who know what the special power of each bird is will have better chances of success, because the birds can give a hint as to what the weakness is on the pigs' side. The most basic bird is the small red one, which is just launched by the slingshot. This bird has no special power, but others do.
